Niel [ALEX] Sumter:
ALEX is the original concept writer, director, and site manager of Dance of Heart. He birthed DoH and its lead characters back in August 2003 after hearing a certain J-Pop song that he still listens to today. He continues to be influenced by all forms of musical outlets, rhythm games, and dance while also drawing from his own personal experience and anime/manga fandom as a whole.
When he is not scripting, he is working pseudo, full-time as a Web Producer for a small digital media company, managing the creative/doujin group that produces Dance of Heart, EtherFuture, as its founder, and is an active member of YouTube and the Voice Acting Alliance as an aspiring pro voice actor. As mostly an independent adult, having some quiet time for himself once in a blue moon is rare. Needless to say, he has forgotten the meaning of “relax.”

Murat [KOU] Mamkegh:
KOU is the artist of Dance of Heart, as well as the Lead Illustrator and only founding member of EtherFuture. Having been behind the pen since childhood and also ALEX’s best friend since high school, he was ALEX’s first go-to for bringing this story to life. His dynamically unique art style is enriched by his active lifestyle in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Martial Arts tricking.
He is a full-time college student while making his living as a part-time gymnastics instructor. He also teaches children’s MMA classes and well on his way to earning his black belt in the same dojo.
